The five Scottish Archives for Schools booklets give teachers and pupils the opportunity to work with specially selected and interpreted original sources to support Social Studies: people, past events and societies, levels 2-4. Sources may also be used for learning at senior level. Booklets 1-3 consider aspects of people, events and societies of significance and the nature of historical evidence. Booklets 4-5 consider aspects of people, events and societies of significance, change and continuity, cause and effect and the nature of historical evidence.
